Welcome to Zope. Based in East Lothian, I create handmade soaps and bath salts in small batches, carefully crafted by hand using only natural ingredients. My signature soaps are built on a nourishing blend of olive, coconut, and castor oils, enriched with moisturising shea butter, while my bath salts feature a soothing mix of Epsom, Himalayan pink, or sea salts and beautiful botanicals. Scented with pure essential oils and tinted with ethically sourced colourants, everything is packaged in fully recyclable and compostable materials. All of my products are crafted using only the finest 100% natural ingredients. The base for my soaps includes olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter, castor oil, and lye. For the bath salts, I use a base of Epsom salts (magnesium sulfate) combined with pink Himalayan salt or Maris Sal sea salt.
To scent the products, I use 100% pure essential oils. Vibrant colours are achieved using natural micas while pastel colours come from clays, and everything is beautifully finished with natural botanicals, micas, or salt.

Everything you need to know
While my soaps and bath salts do not strictly expire, the fragrances from the pure essential oils will gradually fade over time. For the best aromatic experience, I recommend using them within 6 months of purchase.
Soaps: If you aren't using them right away, store them in a paper bag in a cool, dry, and dark place (ideally between 18°C and 22°C).
Bath Salts: Because bath salts easily absorb moisture from the air, please ensure the jars are kept tightly sealed when not in use.
Yes! Please request this on the order page.
Delivery is £4.95. All packages are sent via Royal Mail 2nd Class (taking 2–3 working days, Monday–Saturday). This service includes tracking and a delivery confirmation photo for peace of mind.
Yes! You are very welcome to collect. Please contact me on 07976950674 via text or WhatsApp to arrange a convenient collection time. Payment can be made upon collection using either cash or card.
I love creating bespoke soaps and bath salts to celebrate special occasions or to serve as unique merchandise for your business. Perfect examples include custom mini-soaps or bath salts as wedding favors, or products uniquely designed to complement and market your brand. Yes, completely! My labels are made of paper and sealed using a homemade glue crafted from cornstarch and water, making them fully compostable and recyclable. My bath salts are packaged in fully recyclable glass jars, finished with either aluminium lids (recyclable) or natural cork (recyclable and compostable). Additionally, all gift boxes are made from recyclable and compostable cardboard.
